Congratulations Interns! You have completed your first week!

Hi All,

Expect to see me at your site weekly or every other week at your site.  I am enjoying the visits and appreciate how nice your appearance is, your professional attitudes and keeping me in the loop on everything.  That is so important and prevents me from being perceived as unprofessional. Not that!  Be sure to continue writing in your journals. 

Please read the blog from 11/26 to 11/30 and every weeknight.  I do not want to hear "Sorry, I didn't look at the blog" AGAIN!  Thank you.

Have your time sheets ready to turn in on Wednesday SIGNED and the name of the signer(s) printed near the words "Supervisor Signature".

To register KAISER volunteer students and grant them KPHC access, they need to be assigned to a dept. That dept is Student Volunteers.   Ariel Chan would like to track all the hours the students spend in their internships and then he adds it to his database. All volunteers, as well as our ROP students, should sign into the system at the Volunteer Desk in both Livermore and Pleasanton. In Pleasanton, that is the desk in the South Bldg. Ariel gave each of the students their number. I left a copy of the their student number and sign in directions at each volunteer station. The volunteers or Brian in Pleasanton can help you log in the first time.
Students  report to the volunteer desk when they ask about signing in. If you have any other questions about this, please let Ariel Chan know, or call me if you are unable to reach him.

KAISER students will be in IT training on Monday.
