Hello Everyone,
First of all, thank you for showing up and doing a good job out there! I have seen most of you this week, and some of you I will see tomorrow. Trust me, you are on a journey that will bring you amazing networking opportunities. People are watching you all the time and you want to make a great impression. You may not understand how your behavior affects your site, the Medical Occupations Program and your reputation, but it really does. Professionalism is paramount to your success in the field and will serve you well in the future when you are looking for employment.
Cell phones must be locked away in your cars. I have already had one report of a cell phone being taken out in plain view and I saw one today! Please, for the two or three hours you are there, no cell phones. If there is some special circumstance that requires emergency communication with family, notify me immediately.
Do not leave your site early without notifying me first. There should not be a reason to leave early. If your manager tells you it's okay to go, please tell them you have to check with me first. This is critical and jeopardizes the program. You know....the "L" word.
HOLIDAY HOURS: Notify your manager/supervisor of your holiday schedule and if you plan to participate at site anytime from 12/22 to 1/6, let me know so I can approve it and arrange for coverage.
HOMEWORK for your journal due on 12/5 is on last night's blog (11/28). This assignment is in addition to your daily entries regarding activities.
GET YOUR TIME SHEET SIGNED TOMORROW! If you have trouble with that...text or call right away and I will help you.
Have a great night!
Mrs. Erceg
