This is the "blogspot" to look at each weekday evening. Please save it on your bookmarks. Set your phone alarm to check the blog each day after school. This is the way I communicate to you and many blog posts include graded assignments, like the one today. I do not respond to comments to this blog. Please email me or call the classroom phone if you need my assistance. All absences must be called in to the classroom telephone BEFORE CLASS BEGINS, not to my cell. After you have started your internship site, you may use cell number to communicate with me.

Please be sure to bring in all required materials, including your CPR/Immunization documentation, Three 1" white binders (with the clear, window front). Slip a piece of paper with your full name/title on it in each cover to properly identify the binders that belong to you. Mark them as:

1. Medical Occupations Classroom Binder
2. Community Classroom Binder
3. Career and Academic Portfolio

I expect you to demonstrate responsibility and turn in items/assignments promptly! This is a sign that you prepared to complete this course successfully.

Here is your first assignment. Remember to write/type your full name, date, AM or PM the name of the assignment at the top right corner of all of your papers.

RESPONSE TO ALLERGIC REACTION 25 Points DUE 8/23 Follow directions carefully.

1. What is the primary reason patients wear the bracelet or necklace?

2. List 10 conditions/medications, etc. that justify wearing the bracelet or necklace, make a list 1 to 10.

What type of conditions require a patient to carry one?

4. Do you, your family or anyone you know have or need one of the above items? No names please,
just list conditions. List at least one.

Carry your homework in your hand as you come into the classroom so you can put it in the basket near the sign in area. It will be date stamped by the classroom manager. THANK YOU.
