What a great way to end the week!
Thank you Charlotte, Alyssa, Lauren, B., Sebastian and Julian!
At approximately 9:25 a.m. this morning, an elderly gentleman walking on the
sidewalk near the GHS student parking lot, lost his balance and fell against the
fence. He suffered a head injury and hand laceration, losing consciousness
several times. Five Med Occs students came to his aid. First Charlotte and Alyssa, then the others. The school nurse, Shelley Casey, followed shortly. The students kept the patient
calm and did not panic, keeping him talking as much as possible, even writing
down his son's phone number. The paramedics arrived and the students gave them
all the details. I am so proud of them. They remembered their training and kept
their cool. I even checked on them at their sites and they were fine. I guess
this bunch is cut out for this kind of work!
THANK YOU FOR AN INCREDIBLE JOB! WOW!
Now, for some reminders:
Work on your portfolio!
