Correction on medical terminology assignment...please work on the handout and prepare this way:

aden/o=gland      medical word:  aden/o/pathy      definition:  disease of a gland

Please add to the handout:  -ectomy  -o/stomy  -o/tomy  incision  excision  (apply instructions above)

REMINDER:  ANY change to your schedule must be sent by text or called in to me.  I had four separate issues today.  I am feeling "dissed".  Please don't let that happen again.

I recommend you print out this list and make sure you have turned in or have the following:

ASSIGNMENTS you may (or may not have completed) to bring in next class meeting:

CMA Exam Review Study Guide from www.ccbma.org (click on exam and scroll to the bottom)
Interview questions (full page and the two questions)
Training Plan WITH a job description attached.  (you may bring job description next class meeting)
Cover Letter - BUSINESS FORMAT - check the sample on the blog.  Date, addressee, etc.
Medical Terminolgy flash cards, if you have them at home - bring them to class
Time Sheet (s)
Operative Reports on bronchoscopy and M.I. (these are the ones with the medical terms in bold)
KAISER interns:  Be prepared to give me your total number of hours for January.
Portfolio Contents - bring in anything from home that goes in the portfolio, certificates, resumes, etc.
Journals - complete and ready for my review.
