Welcome to Week #4 of Community Classroom

Hi Everyone!

HOLIDAY HOURS:  There is now coverage available for you to participate at site during the holidays.  The only days there will NOT be coverage:  12/24, 12/25 and 1/2/13.  MAKE SURE you sign up on Wednesday, 12/19 with me if you will be at site anytime from 12/22 to 1/6.  Remember, there is no obligation to attend site during the holiday, but some of you want to "bank" hours or do make-up time due to absences

Ask Mom or Dad to give you a card for your site/staff. Take the holiday/thank you card to your site on Thursday. Write a short note about how much you appreciate them and the opportunity to help. (cookies or candy won't hurt either).

Changes to Site Schedule?  If you have any changes to your schedule during the week, please notify me by text immediately.  If you are arriving early, need to leave early (with authorization), will be staying late, etc....text me!  I don't want to show up and look unprofessional by asking for you and you are not there. Thanks so much.

DUE WEDNESDAY  12/19:

HOMEWORK: Days/hours you plan to be at site from 12/22 to 1/6 (excluding 12/24, 12/25, 1/2) - PUT THIS IN WRITING.  Work it out with your supervisor tomorrow.  Make it a detailed note and get parent approval/signature on the note!

Feel free to bring a snack to share on our last day of 2012 together.

Bring your CC binder as well as your time sheet for the week of 12/10 - 12/16. (and any time sheets owed to me)

JOURNALING THIS WEEK:

In addition to writing down your normal activities, continue the SS, SS, FS entries as you wind down toward year end. What will you accomplish January through May? Predict possible outcomes for yourself - use your best creative imagination. Picture how you will be perceived as you leave in May.

PARENTS AND STUDENTS AT GHS: Start collecting your "E-Waste" - Electronic equipment, phones, etc. for the 1/19 E-Waste Recycling Drive that benefits Safe and Sober Grad Night.

EXAMPLES:  computers (all hard drives are erased), desktops, laptops and PDA's, mouse, keyboards/peripherals, monitors, tv's, printers, copiers, fax machines, audio and video players, tapes, cd's DVD's, telephones, cell phones and phone accessories.  MAKE GRAD NIGHT GREAT by donating one or more of these items.
Take care and keep up the good work!  Thank you for keeping patients your priority.

Mrs. Erceg
