 Hello Interns!

Tri-Valley Haven - Would you ask Mom and Dad to help you, maybe your brothers and sisters too?
Please make a gift bag with a teen boy or girl in mind.  Toys are welcome too for the little ones!  You should all have the wish list and if you don't please ask me and I will give you one.  Start bringing in items in a gift bag or any bag for that matter!  Final collection date is Wednesday, 12/5, but feel free to bring in your items on Wednesday this week.  Wrapping paper needed too. Even one item can make a difference in someone's life and give them something to open during the holidays!

Document your time daily on your time sheet. You may use 15 or 30 minute increments. Document on the time sheet like this: 2:30 (Not 2.5)

Put on your calendar: Get time sheet signed by someone at your site on Friday 11/30.
Problems getting it signed?  CALL ME IMMEDIATELY and I will help!

Take your CC binder- Every day to site and bring it to class every WEDNESDAY too!!!!

Wear your uniform, badge/lanyard whenever you are at site, at the hospital meetings, events, etc.  You are representing this program and I am so happy you are!

JOURNAL daily in your CC Binder - During the internship, take notes in your journal, as well as your daily entries, so you can document how to's, the what-not's, staff names, procedure information, etc.
(Kaiser Interns): Take notes in your journal during orientation and IT training please.

PLEASE bring me  a business card(s) from your site.  Keep one (or one of each) for your CC binder and give me the other(s) so I can update my "Teacher CC Binder".  Sometimes there is a change in staff.

Reminder: Arrive at your site ON TIME, READY and LOOKING GREAT. By the way, do not change into your scrubs in your car or in the parking lot! This is inappropriate, of course. Wear your unifom, change at school, or at home before your arrival time.  Park in non-patient parking areas.
