Hi All ~
We are going to have visitors tomorrow!!! Nursing students and nurses are coming, and they are going to help with all of the stations in the classroom.
VETERINARY: Training for you is on Friday - 10-12. I am confirming for the AM students that they can miss part of 2nd period to be here.
Reminder: Change your greeting on your cell phone so it is professional (what the caller hears when they are going to leave you a voicemail). Also.....create a new email address if you have one that is not professional. Ask me if you need advice. Supervisors and potential employers may be contacting you soon.
STEPHANIE, ELISA S., NATALIE AND ALEXIS - Please confirm with your P2 teacher tomorrow that you can be with me starting at 10:00 a.m. on Friday for veterinary/internship training. I have called them and left messages too.
ALL STUDENTS: SS# - MEMORIZE and stow that SS card somewhere r e a l l y safe.
KAISER STUDENTS: VOLUNTEER APPLICATIONS will be due on Tuesday, Oct. 30th. I will give those out tomorrow. YOU MUST KNOW YOUR SS# and other students may too.
The PM class helped me brainstorm around the needs of site preparation. If you know your specialty area, look up: PROCEDURES, MEDICATIONS, ASSOCIATED SPECIALISTS AND CURRENT INFORMATION RELEVANT TO YOUR SITE. Kaiser - go to kp.org and review, and ValleyCare go to valleycare.com.
We will talk more about it tomorrow. This information will go in the "CC" section of your binder.
