We are learning to speak a new language

Hi Everyone and Happy Monday!

You will all be speaking medical terminology in no time! 

Congratulations AM class for perfect attendance again.  Way to go!!!

Homework:

1. Review the site:  www.scholarships.com  find THREE scholarships you are qualified for or for Juniors, choose scholarships you will be qualified for this year OR next year.  Print out the home page/info for each, staple together and put your name at the top as directed on the first blog.

2. Find THREE websites you like that help you make medical terminology flashcards for FREE.
    Write the websites down.  You do not have to print anything out for this.  I will compile this info.

3. Bring in your 3x5 cards by Wednesday and a large ziplock bag (1 gallon size). About 25 of each
    color or 100 white cards.

4. Think of FIVE different ways you can "Anticipate the Need" - yours or someone elses. The
     example that comes to mind is..."Call if you going to be late or absent". Just think about this.

There is a volunteer opportunity available for Wednesday, 8/29 with the Good News Bears Program from 5-6:30 p.m.  You can earn a certificate for your portfolio for helping.  I will go over the details tomorrow.
